Bill wanted to be a funeral director since he was a young man helping his dad, grandfather and great grandfather. He received his licence in 1998. Bill has enjoyed being active in many professional associations as well as a number of local community groups. Bill is the proud father of Ben.

Sam Di Cesare
Sam was licensed in 1997 and takes great care to ensure the families he serves are comfortable and at ease. Sam is quite possibly the most talented funeral technician in Ontario. Sam's passions outside the funeral home include gardening and caring for animals. Sam resides in Forest where he is always available to assist and serve the families of Lambton Shores and surrounding area.

Brad grew up around the funeral home. After the retirement of Bill Sr. and his father Al, Brad stepped into the management role in Strathroy. He has been a constant presence in the community since receiving his licence and returning to Strathroy in 1987. He is married to Marcy and is the proud father of Damon, Connor and Danielle.

Jill grew up in Strathroy and returned to her home town to add to her profession after she received her licence in 2005. She is available to meet with families at all of our chapels or in your home to discuss funeral planning options and provide assistance on the more than 100 separate notifications and cancellations required when death occurs. She and her husband John Artuso have one son, Cooper. She is an avid runner, book worm and foodie.

Jamie was born and raised in the small Northern Ontario town of New Liskeard and grew up camping, fishing and playing hockey. He received his Funeral Director's License in 2002 and has worked in Toronto, Milton, London and now hangs his hat proudly as manager of Denning’s of Strathroy, Ailsa Craig and Watford. He has a beautiful wife, Julia, and three wonderful children, Alexis, Mia and Cole. Jamie serves the people in his community like family and will go above and beyond to create a meaningful, respectful and memorable funeral service personalized to the needs of that family.

Josh Denning was born and raised in Strathroy along with his brothers Bill and Brett and their sister Lesley. Josh began working as a paramedic in 2000 and continues in paramedicine on a part-time basis. Josh has been married to his wife Lindsay for 10 years. They have two sons; Sam and Clark. They reside in Watford and enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Raised in North Dunwich and attended High School in West Lorne. Enrolled in the Funeral Service Education Program at Humber College in 2014 and graduated, obtaining his funeral directors license in July of 2015. Evan apprenticed at R.S. Kane Funeral Home in Toronto. His aspiration was always to work within the community he grew up in. It is his hope that families are at ease knowing that he has been part of the community for almost his entire life. Evan believes that each life lived ought to be recognized and is dedicated to ensuring that the arrangements he is entrusted with are carried out with respect, dignity and professionalism.
John is a resident of North Middlesex, formerly East Williams Township since 1958. He is the son of Aubrey and the late Rose McCallum. John attended East Williams Memorial Public School and Parkhill District High School where a dedicated team of teachers attempted to educate him. Upon graduation he began his working career at D.H. Howden Pro Hardware Distribution in London; serving in many areas for 12 years with short stops in Ottawa and Winnipeg. He owned and operated Ailsa Craig Home Hardware along with his sons Everett and Daniel and a great staff from 1984 until 2008. In the later years he assisted Pat Fraser at T. Stephenson & Son Funeral Home. After the sale of his business and Pat's, he carried on with the new owners of the funeral home, the Denning's. His areas of interest include motor bikes, classic cars, Fox News, long drives through North America and during the busy farming seasons, his two brothers Jim and Robert still allow him to drive their green and yellow equipment. John feels fortunate to have made a living serving the area in which he was raised, namely Ailsa Craig, Beechwood and Strathroy.
After nearly 40 years in industrial management, Gary retired in late 2003 to play more golf. Shortly thereafter he began assisting Ronn Dodge and then with Sam and the rest of the team. He finds working in funeral service both enjoyable and rewarding.
Clara has lived in the Kerwood community with her husband Wayne for the past 45 years. While earning a living farming, together they raised three wonderful children. She loves to spend time with her four grandchildren. Clara became part of the Denning team in the fall of 2007. She understands the pain that is felt when losing a loved one. Her wish is that her presence provides some comfort to families during their time of loss.
Anne retired from a career in banking after an incredible 46 years. She has been a great source of comfort to many through her work at the funeral homes. When she's not helping her husband Lyle farm, she can be found golfing, playing cards, paper toling or volunteering at Coffee Java at Strathroy Hospital. Anne is also a certified fitness instructor.
Pat is the third generation of the Stephenson family to serve Middlesex County. She continues to assist families by working with Denning's. The T. Stephenson Funeral Home in Ailsa Craig is the third oldest funeral home in Ontario. The Stephenson family has taken great care of the surrounding communities since 1854, an amazing legacy.
Don has been a part of funeral service longer than anyone with the firm. He has complimented the work of a number of different funeral homes over the years before retiring to Glencoe and joining us. He is knowledgeable, caring and most of all professional. And he's still the first one to work!
Roxy has been a part of funeral service in West Elgin for many years. Her warm smile and natural approach with people are just two of her many qualities. She keeps herself busy working with the Rodney Horticultural Society and the West Elgin Nature Club.
After retiring from the Bank of Montreal in West Lorne, Marg joined the funeral homes on a part time basis. Marg has been with us for over twenty years and has brought the families of West Elgin a great deal of comfort and compassion.
Bob is the former owner of McClung's Flowers in Watford. His desire to help people and years in customer service have complimented the funeral home well. If he's not out walking or visiting he can be found at the flower shop or greeting people at Denning's of Watford.
