Obituary of Marion Jean Wright

Peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family at Strathroy General Hospital on Sunday, July 27th, 2014, Marion Jean Wright (Tunks) of Rodney in her 89th year. Wife of the late William Earl Wright (2010). Lovingly remembered by daughter Diana (Dave Small); grandchildren Janyce Sullivan (Joe), Kevin Lyons (Elaine), Bradley Lyons (Shelly); great grandchildren Rebecca, Scott, Trevor, Andrea, Sam, Will and Lily. Survived by sisters Dorothy Pringle of Newbury and Pat Stocking of Kincardine. Also survived by a sister-in-law Elizabeth Tunks and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents James and Ethel (Wills) Tunks; brothers Cecil, George and Harold Tunks, sisters Blanche Thomson and Donna VanAcker; and sisters and brothers-in-law Ethel, Dorothy, Glen, Abbey and Ken. Marion worked in the Rodney Bell Telephone office during the early 50’s to the early 60’s and she co-owned and operated Prim Fashions Ladies Wear in West Lorne for over 23 years with Anne Cornwall. A special thank you to Dr. Sanders and all the nurses at SMGH for all their care and compassion. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel of Denning Funeral Directors on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 where service will be held on Friday at 2pm. Interment McLean Cemetery.
