Obituary of Dorothy Jean Burdick

Suddenly on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at her home in Rodney, Dorothy Jean Burdick (nee Payne) passed away at the age of 83. Loving wife of the late Edwin Thwaites (1966) and the late Morley Burdick. Beloved mother of the late Murray Thwaites and Thomas Thwaites, both of Rodney. Dear grandmother of Cindy Thwaites – Meredith (Gary), Ryan (Tammy), Ashley (Hamid), Amanda (Ed) and the late Gregory Thwaites. Great grandmother of Joshua Meredith, Kayla, Kayden, Dariush and Nevaeh Thwaites. Survived by her loving brother John (Mary) Payne. Sadly missed by dear friends Mary Corr and Phyllis Tobias. “Dot” will be forever remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm at DENNING’S OF RODNEY, 519-785-0810.
