Obituary of James A. Lockhart

Peacefully with family by his side at Four Counties Health Services – Newbury Hospital on Thursday, May 7, 2015 James A. Lockhart of Rodney passed away at the age of 74. Loving husband and best friend of Marjorie (nee Titus) for 40 years. Beloved father of Michael Brown of Rodney, Allen (Lynda) Lockhart of Hamilton, Terry (Pamela) Lockhart of Huntsville and Tim (Susan) Lockhart of Huntsville. Survived by grandchildren Sarah, Katie, Jessica and Samantha. Brother of Diane DeMerchant of Kitchener. Brother-in law of Don Gosnell of Highgate, John Kirchner of Chatham, Fred (Esther) Titus of Rodney and Marlene Malm of Rondeau Shores. Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alice and Weldon Lockhart, sister in law Margaret Gosnell, Mary Anne Kirchner and brother in law Ron Malm. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at DENNING’s OF RODNEY 519-785-0810 where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 13th at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow in Rodney Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to The Lung Association or to Canadian Cancer Society.
