Obituary of Frank Sura

Sadly with his loving family at his side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, June 21st, 2015. Frank Sura Sr. of Rodney at the age of 80. Lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of nearly 55 years, Irene (Toth). Cherished father of Frank Jr. (Laurie) and Anita Van Dongen (Chris). Dear papa of Tanya Van Dongen, Alex and Michael Sura. Survived by his brother in law Les (Sogor) Toth and sister in law Margaret (Sissy) Csoborko. Survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Alex and Piroska Sura and cousin and brother in law John Csoborko. Frank prospered as a longtime tobacco farmer and beef producer in the Rodney area. Friends may call at Denning’s of Rodney on Thursday, June 25th, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11 am.
