Obituary of Jean Margaret Black

Peacefully on February 9, 2016 at Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care, London and formerly of Rodney, Jean Margaret Black passed away at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husband Charles Ian Black, her parents Glen and Gladys Irene Purvis (Truax), sister Evelyn Mott and brother Murray Purvis. Dearly loved by daughters Carol Wong (Winston) and Janet Weiss (Thomas). She will be missed by two granddaughters Jennifer Weiss (Gerren) and Danielle Weiss (Chris). Predeceased by granddaughter Allison Weiss. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will take place at DENNING’S OF RODNEY, 212 Furnival Road, Rodney (519-785-0810) on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery, Morpeth. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jean may be made to St. Josephs London-Health Care Foundation for Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care. Share a memory at denning.ca
