Obituary of June Purcell

In the early morning of Friday, June 20, 2014, June Purcell, with family by her side passed away very peacefully at University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late John Purcell (July 29, 2011). Dearly loved mother of Peggy (Rene) VanAcker, Jo Anne Manderson, Debbie Purcell, Wendy (Paul) Padfield, Patti (Mike) Mercier, Penny (Derek) Geddes and Greg (Nadia) Purcell. Adored by her grandchildren Chantelle (Kevin), Shannon, Amanda, Amy, Shawn (Danielle), Samantha (Greg), Katie (Kevin), John (Colleen), Nicholas (Kelly), Sadie, Nathan (Stacy), Andy (Molly), Wesley, Megan, Haley, Jackson, Jessica (Darby), Tanya (Matt) and Bill (Amber). Loved and Adored by her great grandchildren, Jamee, Mackenzee, Stacy, Cody, Griffin, Dylan, Grady, Ryder, Quintin, Cole, Jordyn, Mary, Charly, Jorgia, Vandal, Larz, Mackenzie and Caius. June will be sadly missed by her four legged companions Peppi and Kitty. Predeceased by her grandson's Shannon and Tim, sister Joyce and brother Dave. At the golden age of 83, June was still an active member of the Clachan Womens Institute which recently celebrated their 100th anniversary. June loved her gardens. Her love of hoeing kept the Purcell Farm neat, trim and pleasing to passer's by. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 24th from 1 pm until the time of the memorial service at 3 pm from the RODNEY CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS, (519-785 0810).
