Obituary of Susan Irene Kampers

Peacefully, with family by her side, Susan Kampers (nee Shaw) passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the age of 72. Ben and Susan shared 47 wonderful years of marriage. Loving mother to Kristy Brouwer, Benny Kampers, Amanda Kampers (Jay Smith) and Chay. Adoring Grandma to Keagan, Kylie, Payten, Paige, Evah, Morgan and Isaac. Loving Aunt to many wonderful nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father & mother, Burt and Vicky Shaw, and sister Sandy (Shaw) Rogers. Susan is survived by her husband Ben, and sister Brenda (Shaw) Wilton.

 

Susan was passionate about her Saviour, her faith, her family and helping those in need. Among her many talents and gifts were making each person feel like they mattered, they belonged and were important, rescuing all the strays, being extremely welcoming and hospitable and spending each day trying to fix all that was wrong in anyone's world. If you had a problem, she had five solutions for you, before you even finished explaining it to her. She loved singing and playing music, family dinners and shopping trips with her "golden girls".
