I would like to express my condolences to Candy and her family. We met when we were 12, and became good friends when she was my locker partner at Beck Secondary School at the age of 14. I was there to support her when she lost her precious baby son Daemon in 1970. What great joy it brought to bless her with Jason, Kiley and Lyndsey .It breaks my heart to see her suffer through another loss. Kiley is gone in peace to join his brother. I pray in time your pain will lesson as you accept and deal with his loss.

Catherine and family. I wanted to express how very sorry I am for your loss. I have known Kiley since the age of twelve, and we have been close friends since then. A few of my favourite teenage memories were going to Grand Bend just to watch the sunrise, driving to Tennessee to visit a friend at sixteen, Friday night dinners at a Indian restaurant, teaching him to drive on the highway, going to a comedy club in Ohio, and spending Saturday nights at the coffee shop with all of our friends. He was a wonderful friend for over thirty years, and my memories with him will live forever in my heart.
Sincerely,
Kathy Weir and family

Rest in peace my dear friend. Although time drew us apart, you have always been everywhere i have. Your memory lives in my heart for eternity. From helping me with fractions in grade 6 to loving the General Lee, you have always been there for me. Wish i could have been there for you. To quote the lyrics of a song we wrote in 1986, “crying eyes by the light of the sunshine” Although my eyes cry, my heart is full of your sunshine. Till we meet again my brother.

Catherine, Caryssa, Salaena & Clark, I was profoundly and deeply saddened for each of you when I heard of Austin's passing. He was an incredibly gifted individual with so many wonderful talents. He was a larger than life figure at the office and dedicated countless hours to fundraising for company charities such as the Children's Wish Foundation and Food Banks Canada, by organizing various events and activities such as our annual Golf Tournament. We were so fortunate to have Austin on our team, and we all are that much richer for having known and worked with him.
Your dad and I spent the start of many a morning at the office, enjoying that first cup of coffee, usually talking about hunting, fishing, guitars, music, the Argo, the General Lee, the boat project, which abattoir had the best venison sausage or pepperettes, Volkswagens, crazy drivers on the 401, the next trip to the hunt camp, golf and so many other topics I've simply lost track, but without a doubt his favorite one was always his family. He was so very proud of each of you and all your accomplishments. He shall remain alive in your hearts and minds forever. He was taken far, far too soon.

Hello
It is with heavy heart that I want to deeply express my condolences to you Catherine and your family on the passing of Austin. I for one will miss him, as we rode together up north on our hunting trips in my truck and conversations had along the way and time spent in the cabin. I will cherish the great times, although to short, the memories will never go away.

When Austin walked into the room, the room changed for the better. Catherine hearing your voice on the phone, I was in disbelief. You are an amazing person to take the time to reach out to us, even though it has been years since we last hugged each other 'hello' . We are sharing your deep sadness, and we hope you are surrounded by LOVE.

I will miss him dearly and never will forget the greatest birthday where he presented me with in my opinion the greatest guitars he ever built. Someday the whole world will here it played. I will always remember the nights/days spent in the workshop dreaming if all the guitars he could build and talking shop. I will also miss and never forget the fun jam nights at 171 elm him and I had. He was the most caring person I've ever met, I admired how amazing of a father he was and I hope I can do have as good of a job as him. I will miss him tremendously, it's a big loss in my life and heart. My deepest sympathy to his amazing wife and kids. He will be missed by so many! Love you Austin
